Our History Consult Paprika is an energetic young social enterprise committed to pioneering professional cultural integration services in Finland. The company was born during the fall of 2007 after a group of friends saw the need to provide the Finnish business society with holistic integration services. Part of the services are for foreigners so that they can effectively integrate into Finnish society, while some of the services are for companies so that they can utilize the talent of qualified immigrants who are already in Finland.
Our Mission Our mission is to be able to promote the internationalization of Finnish business societies by providing services that educate both relevant stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial - As a company, we believe in intelligently observing trends that enable us to come up with new projects, products and services. We believe in dynamically addressing the needs of society by offering smart solutions to challenges that face Finland today. Action-oriented - We believe that action is always required. We believe in taking calculated risks that further our cause for an international Finnish business society. Cooperation - We believe that we have no competitors. Rather, we exist together with other companies and associations to further internationalize Finland. We seek to cooperate with various individuals, organizations and societies that share our vision.
The Team
Consult Paprika is comprised of Erica Kononen and Heikki Kononen:
Erica Kononen (Business Development Director)
Erica has a nine-year working experience in the field of training, communications and non-profit management. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from one of the Philippines' top universities and is currently finishing her Masters in the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Her significant work experiences include stints as the National President of AIESEC in Finland and as a Communications Specialist in a United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded project.
Heikki Kononen (Language Consultant)
Heikki is a soon-to-be Finnish Philology and Pedagogy degree graduate from the University of Helsinki. He has keen interest in teaching the Finnish language training to immigrants and has done so through freelance jobs over the years. He is Consult Paprika's resident Finnish teacher and actively developing ways to develop the curriculum. Heikki is fluent in Finnish, Swedish, English and Spanish.
